How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs

Exterminating bed bugs with heat treatments is the only guaranteed method to get rid of bed bugs. Bed bugs die at a temperature of 130 degrees. We use large heater fans to get temperatures up to 160 degrees to ensure all areas in your rooms are heated properly.
Heat Treatment Equipment
During bed bug heat treatments, we use the following equipment to get the job done:
- Large heater fan (fueled by propane)
- Heat Ducts that direct the heat to targeted areas
- Propane tank
- Small fans that push the hot air around
- Infrared thermometer
Heat Treatment Process
We place the heater in a doorway, run the duct work into each room and let the heat do its thing. We check on the room every 5-10 minutes to ensure the heat is being properly distributed and temperatures are lethal. The process can take anywhere from 2-8 hours, depending on the size of the home and level of infestation.
Bed Bug Chemicals
In rare cases, bed bugs can tuck away in a spot that doesn’t get quite hot enough. Our chemical is safe for people and animals once dry and will kill/stop the growth of bed bugs in all stages. Simply put, if there any stragglers after the heat treatment, chemicals can effectively finish the job.
